All-PVC indoor track honors

Indoor track and field athletes from around the region were recently honored by the Penobscot Valley Conference for their performances during the 2024-25 season.

The girls PVC Small School First Team includes Piscataquis Community High School’s Ava Edes in the high jump and Ava Goulette in the shot put.

Alexis Heretakis of Foxcroft Academy is a Second Team long jumper and Judith Jannsen of PCHS is a Second Team triple jumper.

The boys Small School First Team has Foxcroft Academy’s Conner Donahue in the 200 meters, long jump, and triple jump.

Named to the Second Team was Jareth Williams of Penquis Valley High School in the 55 and Jaxson Zimmerman of Foxcroft in the shot put.

All-academic picks are Heretakis, Nina Huber and Chhoterith Tycheutvisoth of Foxcroft, Lucas Chai and Kayla Hatt of Penquis Valley, and Tim MacNeil of PCHS.
