Central Hall Commons announces vibrant spring lineup

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Central Hall Commons is excited to announce a vibrant lineup of spring activities designed to engage and enrich the community. Ongoing programs: Central Hall Commons provides a wide range of weekly programs, catering to diverse interests. Highlights include: Mindfulness Meditation, Gameday, Quilters Group, Tai Chi, and Pilates on Tuesdays. Open Table Luncheons, Yarnworks, and Shiretown Singers on offer on Wednesdays. Maine Highland Council for the Arts Planning Meetings, Meditation, Tai Chi, Pilates, and Modern Dance on Thursdays.

Wet Felting: Wet Felting Classes with Julie Knowlton Fridays March 14 to April 4 9 a.m. Learn the art of wet felting with renowned instructor Knowlton. This four-week course includes all materials ($40 value) and covers four projects: an art felting piece, a felted bookmark, a felted bowl, and a felted hat. The course is limited to eight participants. The cost is $140 for the four-week session. Classes will be held in the Laurel Room, Central Hall Commons.

HealthCoachME Lecture Series with Dr. Kevin Chasse: Classes are slated to begin on the First Tuesday of each month, starting April 1. Join Dr. Chasse for a seven-part monthly lecture series focused on personal health coaching. Topics include: Benefits of Intermittent Fasting, Reversing Insulin Resistance and Metabolic Syndrome, Why Muscle Matters; Preventing Sarcopenia, Ending Your Cholesterol Confusion, Ketogenic Diet, Metabolism and Weightloss 101, and Interval Training to Accelerate Weightloss.
