Center Theatre to host Valentine’s dance

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Tickets are now available for the Center Theatre’s Sweetheart’s Dance. The event begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Central Hall Commons, 152 East Main Street.

The popular Foxcroft Academy Alumni Jazz Band will provide live music for the evening. Optional group dance lessons will be offered by Christine Mihan, with the Thomas School of Dance. 

Center Theatre Executive Director Patrick Myers said he is looking forward to the fundraising event.

“It’s been several years since we’ve had a Valentine’s dance in the community. I know my dancing skills are a bit rusty, so I’m thrilled Christine Mihan will be on hand to help those of us who could use a little refresher,” he said.

Myers said that ticket holders will also be able to enjoy a complimentary dessert buffet and soft drinks. The Center Theatre will be providing a cash bar.
