Dexter’s McClintock-Hatch wins cross country race
ORONO — Four Dexter Regional High School cross country runners took part in junior varsity races at Orono High School’s 2024 Red Riot Challenge on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Tiger freshman Ella McClintock-Hatch won the girls JV race. McClintock-Hatch covered the 2.48 miles in a time of 19 minutes, 15.74 seconds to come in first among a field of eight runners.
Dexter sophomore Jaycee Lounsbury was sixth with her time of 23:21.12.
In the boys’ JV race, Dexter sophomore Isaac Rounds finished seventh among 24 entrants with his time of 17:55.70. Freshman Jacob Rounds was 10th in 19:09.45.
