Center Theatre to screen ‘Lost on a Mountain in Maine’

DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Center Theatre is pleased to announce that it will be screening “Lost on a Mountain in Maine” from Nov. 1 through Nov. 21. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 18. Based on the book by the same name, “Lost on a Mountain in Maine” tells the inspiring story of a 12-year-old boy, who, separated from his family by a fast-moving storm, must fight to stay alive during his nine-day adventure lost in the backwoods of Maine. The film is directed by Andrew Boodhoo Kightlinger, written by Luke Paradise, and stars Caitlin FitzGerald (“The Trial Of The Chicago 7”, “Succession”), Paul Sparks (“House Of Cards”), Ethan Slater (Universal’s upcoming “Wicked”), and Luke David Blumm (“The Watcher”).

“Given our proximity to Katahdin, we’re so proud to be hosting this movie based on the book that so many of us read in school,” said Patrick Myers, executive director of the Center Theatre. “We’re actually hosting quite a few school groups who are coming to watch the movie, which also makes us very happy.” The Center Theatre is the closest movie theater to Mount Katahdin to show the film.
