CHARLESTON FIRE — Crews battled a fire Monday at a logging operation in Charleston.

The location of the blaze presented difficulties for firefighters because it wasn’t easily accessible and there weren’t water sources nearby,

Crews from four nearby towns came to Charleston’s aid.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze once they gained access to the site, Amero wrote.

No additional information was immediately available.
