DEXTER — June 1 was a beautiful day for a color run! Dexter Regional High School’s JMG Student Leadership Team and Positive Action Team teamed up to put together a 5K color fun run. This idea was brought on by Dexter students Hannah Comeau and Liv Higgins, and now it may turn out to be an annual event!
Students from Dexter Regional High School who are a part of JMG and Positive Action Team went out to collect sponsors for this lively event where over $2,000 was raised.

Students from Dexter Regional High School who are a part of JMG and Positive Action Team went out to collect sponsors for this lively event where over $2,000 was raised. All proceeds went toward the Heart of Maine Resource Center for renovations in their new building in Dexter. The HMRC is a newly formed organization that will assist people who are in need of food, clothing, low/no cost home repairs, and mental health counseling. It provides help to those in Dexter, Ripley, Garland, and Exeter.
It was a marvelous and entertaining event, as students from Dexter were both running and volunteering in the event.
