GFWC/Miosac Club greets the new year

DOVER-FOXCROFT — GFWC/Miosac Club met Jan. 2 for the new year. President Minnie McCormick called the meeting to order. Eleven members answered the roll call. Some members were reported all ill or away.

It was reported that we collected $370 for the Kiwanis Christmas, some members adopted a child of their own.

Brenda Quiet reported on the new project personal care items for Pleasant Meadow residents. They are very pleased with our thoughtful and useful items. They were used for stocking stuffers this Christmas. 

The advisory committee revealed the results of a survey we had taken earlier regarding how we want to continue our meetings. Good results and not any big changes, the GFWC/Miosac Club will carry on.
