FA Alumni Jazz Band holiday concert at Center Theatre
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre will be hosting a holiday concert by the Foxcroft Academy Alumni Jazz Band at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17. The show will be one of the few times that local residents will be able to see the jazz band, and the only live holiday concert at the Center Theatre this season. Tickets for the concert are available by donation.
“We’re very much looking forward to the concert,” Said Patrick Myers, the executive director of the Center Theatre, “The Alumni Jazz Band is a wonderfully gifted group of musicians and the opportunity to hear them in the comfort of the Theatre is not to be missed.
JAZZ CONCERT — The Foxcroft Academy Alumni Jazz Band will be playing a holiday concert at the Center Theatre at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17. Admission is by donation and proceeds will benefit the Center Theatre and the Alumni Jazz Band Fund.
The event also serves as a fundraiser for both the Center Theatre and the Alumni Jazz Band. According to Myers, the donations will be evenly split between the two groups. “We’re happy to be working with the Alumni Jazz Band to support their future endeavors and, of course, are happy for the opportunity to raise money for the Center Theatre’s ongoing operations.
