November area Grange events
Saturday, Nov. 1 East Sangerville Grange hosts the annual Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Grange is located on the East Sangerville Road.
Also on Nov. 1 East Sangerville Grange kicks off its annual Coffee House series. The first show is a performance by sister duo Chris and Meredith Thompson. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7. This year there will be a 50/50 raffle at every show — and free refills on coffee.
Thursday, Nov. 6 Piscataquis Pomona Grange meets at the Valley Grange for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and meeting at 7. The Valley Grange is located at the corner of Butter Street and Guilford Center Road in Guilford. For more information contact Bill Bemis at 924-5357.
Friday, Nov. 14 a hunter’s public supper is served from 5-7 p.m. at the Garland Grange Hall. The menu includes roast beef, baked beans, locally grown vegetables, homemade bread and desserts. Proceeds to benefit Garland Grange’s new heating system. For more, call 924-6954.
Nov. 14 will be a family contra dance from 7-9 p.m. at the Garland Grange Hall with family friendly music and entertainment. All dances are taught. Live music is by Some Reel People and caller is John McIntire. For more, call 277-3961 or 924-3925.
Friday, Nov. 21 Valley Grange presents “Let’s Sign” – an opportunity to get introduced to the joys of signing and learn a little about the Grange.
