MDI Marathon, Half-Marathon results

    BAR HARBOR — Five runners from the region competed on Sunday, Oct. 19 in the Mount Desert Island Marathon and Half-Marathon.

    Suzannah Sinclair, 35 of Greenville, took part in the marathon. Sinclair covered the 26.2 miles in 5 hours, 8 minutes and 45 seconds to finish 467th out of a field of 612.
    In the half-marathon, Ann Erickson, 50 of Monson, ran the 13.1 miles in 1:50.32 to finish 70th out of 396 runners. Jessica Inch, 39 of Dover-Foxcroft, was 162nd in a time of 2:05.27.
    Placing 218th was Wendy McKenney, 49 of Parkman, in 2:15.02. Judy Snow, 59 of Dover-Foxcroft, came in 259th at 2:22.55.
