YOUNG RUNNERS
As part of the Piscataquis River Festival on July 26 in Guilford, Friends of Community Fitness offered a half-mile kids’ fun run.
The overall winner was Ben Higgins, 8, with a time of 3 minutes, 35 seconds, and Kamryn Merrill, 8, was the girls’ winner with a time of 3:38 Boys’ second-place was Brayson Dunton, the second-place girl was Elizabeth Kendall and the third-place girl was Madalyn Quirk.
