Cruize-In at Grist Mill Museum
DEXTER — On Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Dexter Historical Society’s Grist Mill Museum, the local municipal parking lot will come alive with an automobile Cruize-In.
The show goes from 5 to 9 p.m. with DJ music that features rock and roll tunes and special singing guest Kilee Lewis, Dexter Regional High School student performing live at 7.
The “World Famous Hot Dogs” will be on sale along with the always-favorite Kiwanis dough boys. Dexter Motor Supply will be sponsoring the 10 “Coolest Cruzer” awards.
The Cruize-In gate is at the parking lot entrance on Lower Main Street by the museum. The gate on Main Street is the spectator entrance. Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs, cool rides, pickups, hot rods, customs, muscle cars, antiques and sports cars. Bikers are welcome.
Admission is per vehicle including all passengers or per person walking in. Children under 12 with adult are admitted free. Please, no pets that cannot be carried. All entry fees are by donation. No alcohol or chemicals permitted.
All are invited to the fundraiser for the Dexter Historical Society. Enjoy the music, the food, the awards and a trip down memory lane looking over the extensive museum collection of Dexter’s rich history.
