2022 Black Fly Festival set for Saturday

MILO — The annual Black Fly Festival returns with a day of events on Saturday, June 4 with the public invited to join in a day of fun and festivities.
Craft, art, and food vendors will fill Veterans Memorial Park from 9 a.
MILO — The annual Black Fly Festival returns with a day of events on Saturday, June 4 with the public invited to join in a day of fun and festivities.
Craft, art, and food vendors will fill Veterans Memorial Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festival hats and T-shirts will be for sale at the information table.
A parade will line up at 9:45 a.m. on outer Park Street and will proceed beginning at 10 a.m. toward downtown, ending at the Penquis Valley School campus. There is an open invitation to anyone that wants to participate.
Children’s activities run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A number of different fun craft activities are planned for the kids near the lower Main Street parking area.
The Josh Guthrie Band performs in the gazebo from 1-3 p.m.
Just down the street, Joseph P. Chaisson American Legion Post 41 will hold a chicken BBQ, silent auction, and outdoor craft fair. The craft fair runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the BBQ from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until food is sold out.
