Classes C and B will kick off the state championship cheering competition at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
Classes D and A will start their session at 4 p.m.
There will be 17 Class C teams vying for a state title along with 18 in Class B, six in D and 26 in Class A.
Class C Calais High School will take the mat at 10 a.m. to open the state competition with Class B Belfast to follow five minutes later as the 35 B and C schools have their routines interspersed with each other.
However, the six D schools will all go one after another between 4 and 4:25 with 26 A schools beginning at 4:30.
The regional championships were held last Saturday in Millinocket and Lewiston.
The North regional champions were Bangor in Class A, Hermon in Class B and Central of Corinth in C with the South titlists being Biddeford (A), Medomak Valley of Waldoboro (B) and Lisbon in C.
Class D has just one group and Monmouth Academy/Winthrop won the D regional in Millinocket.
The state championships were held virtually last season as schools videotaped routines in their own gyms and sent them to the judges.
Bangor won the state Class A title, Hermon won its fifth in a row in Class B, Monmouth was the C titlist and Penobscot Valley of Howland claimed the D crown.
However, Penobscot Valley has moved up to Class C this year and Monmouth/Winthrop has dropped to D.
