Joseph P. Chaisson Post 41 Adjutant Daniel Nutter, right with Commander Terry Knowles to the left, presented Cochrane with a medal and Humanitarian certificate. Letters from community leaders described Cochrane as unselfish, generous and constantly helping those in need from small children to the most elderly. He works with elementary children Terrific Kids, the junior high Builders Club, high school Key Club, 4-H, plus providing transportation for those in need. Never seeking credit for himself, Cochrane’s reward is in the pleasure to be able to help out.
