At the Milo Town Hall weigh station Wade Witham of Sebec holds two of the five perch he caught last year during the 50th annual Schoodic Lake Ice Fishing Derby.

Witham was fishing with his father at Seboeis Lake, one of the three lakes included in the derby. This year’s event will take place Feb. 16-17 on Schoodic, Ebeemee and Seboeis lakes, with proceeds benefiting Milo Fire Department charities and events.
