Mother, daughter run in Disney Marathon
ORLANDO — The first marathon for a mother and daughter from Dover-Foxcroft proved to be a unique race as last month the two joined over 19,000 in the 2014 Walt Disney World Marathon.
Erica Peterson covered the 26.2 miles in a net time of 6 hours, 12 minutes and 15 seconds to finish 14,007 out of 19,232 finishers. Immediately behind was her mother Donna Peterson, 54, in 6:12.16 for 14,008 place.
