McLaughlin receives PCHS MPA Principal’s Award
GUILFORD — Piscataquis Community High School Principal John Keane has announced that Megan McLaughlin is this year’s recipient of the MPA Principal’s Award.
McLaughlin is the daughter of Jennifer Dalton, but most recently the surrogate daughter of Chad and Deb Burgess. McLaughlin is an active leader at PCHS, who has been the president of JMG for two years along with the vice president of the Student Council, an integral member of the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute, plus numerous other clubs and organizations.
During her time away from school, McLaughlin works at Whitney’s Supermarket in Guilford. On her days off, she enjoys hanging out with her best friends Gwen Burgess and Macee Pearl. Additionally, she likes to read, go on road trips, and visit family. McLaughlin will be attending the University of Southern Maine where she will be majoring in social work.
