American Flag ColorPO-RichardPrattOBMONSON – Richard H. Pratt, 81, died suddenly at his home January 15, 2014. He was born September 7, 1932, in Monson, to Guy and Augusta Pratt.
    He served in the Korean War. Richard was a self-employed woodsman all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, traveling the back roads of Maine, and his dog. He also enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren, Carter, Cameron and Chloe Pratt.
    Richard is survived by five children, Valerie Pratt Farnham and husband, Jim, Danny and wife, Cyndee Pratt, Michael and wife, Nancy Pratt, Rick Pratt, Joel and wife, Nina Pratt; a sister, Betty Pratt Cole and husband, Allan; four stepchildren, Cindy and husband, Bill Charland, Scott Clawson, Rick and wife, Jolane Clawson, Glenn and wife, Miko Clawson; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Sydney Pratt, whom he remained close friends with.
    He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Phillip and Clarence “Socky” Pratt; a sister, Shirley Pratt Grant; and a daughter-in-law, Lorrie Pratt.
