PVC cheering results

    LINCOLN — The area’s three high school cheering teams were in action at the Penobscot Valley Conference championships on Jan. 18 at Mattanawcook Academy.
    In the Large School division, the team from Foxcroft Academy finished in eighth place with a score of 99.6 points.

    Among Small School teams, Dexter Regional High School was seventh with 100.6 points and placing 13th was Penquis Valley High School with 72.4 points.
    Hermon High School won its sixth consecutive Large School title with 145 points, ahead of second-place Ellsworth High School’s 137.3.
    The Small School winner was Central High School of Corinth with 119.8 points, followed by Sumner High School of Sullivan’s 114.7.
