BIGGEST DOE AND BUCK

     During hunting season KC’s Country Store in Parkman held its annual contests for the biggest doe and buck. The winner for biggest doe was 10-year-old Halle Kimball of Kennebunk. During her first hunting season, Kimball got a 135-pound doe with her grandfather Bob Kimball of Sangerville. Travis Herrick of Abbot earned biggest buck honors by bagging a 190-pound, 14-point deer with a muzzleloader. Kimball and Herrick each won a cash prize of nearly $150 for their deer.
