DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH -- Over 50 people gathered at Stutzman’s Farm Café in Sangerville on the evening of October 3 to observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants enjoyed soup, salad and wood-fired pizza while listening to the music of Craig Stutzman. A moment of silence was observed to remember the 10 victims who died as a result of domestic violence during the last year in Maine. Volunteers are sought to assist Partners for Peace in the ongoing work to assist victim/survivors throughout the region. Interested individuals are invited to call Partners for Peace at 564-8166 to learn more about volunteering.
