Sen. Davis appointed to Maine Climate Council Working Group
AUGUSTA — The Maine Legislature may be out of session at the moment but like many of his colleagues, Sen. Paul Davis, R-Sangerville is busy with important work that will help guide the next Legislative session when it begins in January. Sen. Davis has been appointed to the Working Group on Energy of the Maine Climate Change Council.
“Since energy is a central element in the discussion of climate change in Maine, I look forward to serving with a variety of people in an effort to find ways to adapt to these changes and become more effective at what we do,” he said.
Each of the working groups of the Climate Council will work on their various issues before reporting their findings and recommendations to the Council as a whole. Meetings will begin soon and continue throughout the fall.
