‘A North Country Christmas’

    ABBOT — The North Country Strings invites the public to a program of sacred and secular holiday music “A North Country Christmas” at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church located on Route 15. The North Country Strings will perform original and lively arrangements of traditional Yuletide carols and other holiday favorites to celebrate the season.

    Members of The North Country Strings include Susan Ramsey on violin, viola, vocals, and guitar, Peter McGuire on guitar and vocals, Deb Maynard on bass and sax, Ruth Fogg on cello and vocals, Chelo McGuire on violin and vocals, Caleb McGuire on whistle, vocals, and percussion, and Tim Johnston on percussion. Also featured in the program will be students of Susan Ramsey’s music studio, and Cape Breton step dancing by Jessica Inch and Chelo McGuire.  For more, contact  876-6071.
