Friends of Community Fitness’ Turkey Trot and Walk benefits area food pantries

    GUILFORD — Fifty four people participated in the third annual Turkey Trot and Walk on Nov. 17. Seventeen chose to run the 3.5 mile course which travels on and off the road with following results :
    1. Dave Farrar 25 minutes, 18 seconds; 2. Spencer Martell 26:17; 3. Jarrod Panciera 26:28; 4. Jeffrey Hoak 27:04; 5. Tim Leland 28:03; 6. Damien Bridge 28:30; 7. Craig Lemieux 28:25; 8. Trisha Moulton 29:18; 9. Dave Samuelson 30:26; 10. Jene Carrea 32:56;

    11. Miles Lemieux 33:10; 12. Josh Blanchard 34:10; 13. Corbin Shufelt 34:58; 14. Mary Lightbody 35:29; 15. Shawn Leland 37:42; 16. Jake Ginn 37:50; 17. Kate Leland 41:13.
    First place overall Farrar; first female Moulton; first youth male S. Leland; first high school male Martell and second Hoak; first age 20-29 male Bridge and second Shufelt; first 30-39 male Blanchard and second Ginn; first 40-49 male Panciera, second T. Leland and third C. Lemieux; first 40-49 female Moulton and second Leland; first 50-59 male Farrar; first 50-59 female Carrea and second Lightbody; first 60 and over Samuelson and second M. Lemieux.
    Friends of Community Fitness raised over $800, gathered up 11 turkeys and two turkey vouchers, along with canned and dry goods. These proceeds will be distributed among Partnership Food Pantry in Guilford, United Methodist Church of Guilford Food Pantry and the Unitarian Universalist Church Food Pantry in Sangerville.
