OWLS OF MAINE -- On Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. the Abbott Memorial Library in Dexter will be hosting one of the Chewonki’s Foundation’s most popular traveling natural history programs “Owls of Maine.” Chewonki, located in Wiscasset, is an environmental education organization that teaches appreciation and stewardship of the natural world. The program will feature live non-releasable owls that are native to Maine and it will be held at the Universalist Church which is adjacent to the library. For more information, please call 924-7292.
