    DEXTER – Marion H. Farrenkopf, 93, died October 16, 2013, at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft, March 30, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Davis) Lanpher.
    She graduated from Dexter High School, class of 1940. Marion worked for Dexter Shoe Company for 23 years and later worked for R.H. Renys in Dexter. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter.
    She is survived by two sons, Karl Farrenkopf and his wife, Kathy of CT, and Jeffery and Teresa of NC; a daughter, Glenda Moore and her husband, Jeff of Abbot; a daughter-in-law, Dale Farrenkopf of Dexter; a brother, Omar Lanpher of MA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren;  nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Carl H. Farrenkopf; a son, Rudy; a brother Herbert; two sisters, Inez Holt, and Virginia Cooley Andrews.
    Friends called Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street in Dexter.  Graveside services followed at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hibbard Nursing Home, Special Care Unit, P.O. Box 159, Dover-Foxcroft, ME  04426.
