Portalatin and Pearsall run in Boston Marathon
BOSTON — Two runners with ties to the region were among the more than 30,000 entrants in the 123rd Boston Marathon on April 15.
Rico Portalatin, 47 of Milo, covered the 26.2 miles in and around the largest city in New England in a time of 2 hours, 48 minutes and 42 seconds. Portalatin placed 953rd overall and he was 46th in the men’s age 45-49 division.
Graham Pearsall, a 2009 Foxcroft Academy who later taught and coached at the school, ran a time of 3:02.36. The current Brookline, Massachusetts resident placed 3,006th.
