March trivia night will be a hospice ‘FUNdraiser’
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Pine Tree Hospice will be hosting Trivia Night at The Commons at Central Hall, 152 East Main Street, starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 8, with a snow date of March 15. Organizers thank event sponsors Will’s Shop ‘n Save and Rowell’s Garage for their generosity in helping bring this event to the community.
The event welcomes all ages as team participants, and spectators are encouraged to attend. Prizes for the top two teams, silent auctions, 50/50 raffles, snacks for team tables, and a cash bar are just part of what’s on the agenda for the evening’s festivities. Each table will consist of teams of six participants. If you have less than six team members, individual participants can join together to form a team that night, or teams may pay the full table price of $90 for up to six players. Admission is $15 per person and $5 for spectators. There will be a limited number of tables available, so hospice staff encourage teams to reserve their tables now.
Trivia night is all about breaking up a cold winter’s evening with a fun competition and maybe learning a thing or two in the process. Teams will be competing against one another for the grand prize as well as bragging rights as Central Maine Quiz Masters. The grand prize is a whitewater rafting trip with Northeast Whitewater. Second-place finishers are entitled to an 18-hole round of golf at Foxcroft Golf Club. Along with raffles throughout the evening, there will be having several silent auction items (a photo session with Brenda Shultz Photography, dinner for two at The Quarry, Diane Laurie Needlepoint, Dove Tail Bats, and a gourmet gift basket from Chloe’s Collections) available for people to bid on.
