Misty Mountaineers perform at Wayside Theatre Oct. 27
DEXTER — The Misty Mountaineers play traditional bluegrass, gospel, and a mix of older country tunes done bluegrass style at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Wayside Theatre.
This 35-year-old award-winning band from St. Albans features Wilf Clark, son of legendary cowboy singer Yodeling Slim Clark, on mandolin and lead singer; Bernie Staples as the band’s rock-solid rhythm guitar player and fine picker singing lead vocals and tenor harmony; Andre Tardif plays both banjo and guitar and sings lead and harmony; Dan Burke plays dobro and adds some fine baritone harmonies to the blend; and Kelly Burke plays bass.
The Mountaineers have earned the title Bluegrass Band of the Year in all of Maine’s Country Music Associations.

Doors open at 6:30 pm., no reservations so come early. Dexter. Home baked desserts and pretty good coffee will be sold during intermission. The small theatre is on Route 23 (871 North Dexter Road).
