Historical society meeting Sept. 4

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will meet on Wednesday evening, Sept. 4 at the Gerrish Meeting Room at Thayer Parkway. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

    By popular demand, David Slagger will be returning to continue his stories of the Native Americans in Maine. Slagger will be sharing history, the culture, artifacts and the every day lives of the tribes of this area. The public is invited to attend and hear this informative and interesting speaker.
