VISIT FROM THE HOSPITAL CEO — Marie Vienneau, right president and CEO of Mayo Regional Hospital, spoke recently at the regular morning meeting of the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis Club at Foxcroft Academy. Vienneau gave a review of finances, board members, providers, services and future plans at the hospital. Like most rural hospitals in the country remaining financially viable in order to uphold the mission of providing up-to-date, high quality, compassionate and affordable local healthcare is an ongoing challenge. Innovative staffing, recruitment of new providers and developing relationships with larger healthcare facilities are all being used to assure the hospital will be here for years to come.
