Steven N. Bridge
Steven N. Bridge 50, from Guilford born July 17, 1967, made his transition September 24, 2017 with his family and friends by his side.
Steve graduated from P.C.H.S in class of 86, later he continued his education, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Social Services. Though Steven endured challenges of his own, he was determined not to let his disabilities define him or hold back. Steve knew all landmarks and locals by memory recognized people by their voices. We still think you were “screwing the system” Steve! He lived life to the fullest and made many friends along the way. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, growing pumpkins, some may say “obsessed”, along with spending time with family and friends.
Steve is survived by is his son Damien of Guilford, His World, His Eyes, His EVERYTHING and most importantly his best bud. He also leaves behind his “favorite sister” Teresa of Florida, his father Nelson of Guilford, his maternal Grandmother Thelma Weymouth of Abbot, an Aunt Brenda Weymouth, cousins Dean, Sandy, Bret, and Terrill, a very special uncle Bob Collier, step brothers Boyd and Todd Pullyard.
Steve is predeceased by his mother Kathryn Weymouth, Aunt Pauline Collier and his “partner in crime Gramp” David Weymouth.
To Steve his extended family and friends were all the same. Damien’s mother Laurie Andrews and life-long friends Tommy and Laura were constants in his life.
The family would like to say thank-you and are very grateful for all the care given to Steve. He will truly be missed by all. Please join the family in a celebration of life for Steve at the Abbot town hall, October 8,2017 from 1pm-3pm.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Juvenile Diabetes foundation.
