Historical society meeting
ABBOT — The Abbot Historical Society meeting will be held at the Town Hall on June 25 at 6:30 p.m. A program presented by Wayne and Estella Bennett, featuring Maine Monuments at Gettysburg will follow the business meeting. Maine played a key role in the Battle of Gettysburg and this presentation will highlight the men who served from Abbot.
