Senior Network summer schedule

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Senior Network continues to meet in the Community Room at the Morton Avenue Municipal Building over this summer on a reduced schedule. On the first Monday of each month, Community Café will be held which features a freshly prepared hot meal available for participants for a donation. Community Café is sponsored by Eastern Area Agency on Aging. Participants usually gather at 10:30 a.m. for a social networking time with lunch served at 11:30 a.m., followed by games and jigsaw puzzles until about 1 p.m. Community Café is offered on July 1 and Aug. 5 over the summer.

    All other Mondays are “game days” where participants meet from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., bring a snack or lunch and play board games such as scrabble, jigsaw puzzles, etc.
    On the third Thursdays of the month, participants enjoy a good old New England pot luck luncheon — so bring something to share and enjoy in the meal together. Potluck luncheons will be available on June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15. Plan to come at 10:30 a.m. and catch up with your neighbors, with lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed often by a speaker. In September, Senior Network will return to its weekly schedule.
    Attendees can drive around to the back of the building or enter through one of the main doors to access the Community Room. All entrances are handicapped accessible. For more information, please call Sue at 564-8245.
