Creative Options to celebrate one-year anniversary on Wednesday
SANGERVILLE — Creative Options supports adults with intellectual disabilities and the organization will host an open house on Wednesday, April 5 from 4-6 p.m. at its new office at 1092 Douty Hill Road, according to CEO Lynn Reed-Augustine.
The open house/celebration is an opportunity to see the new office, meet the people Creative Options supports and the people that work at the agency. It’s also an opportunity to inform the public about the services offered and it’s a chance for direct support professionals (DSPs) to inquire about potential job openings and for interested shared living and respite providers to inquire about the shared living program.
Reed-Augustine has been providing services and supports to adults with intellectual disabilities for 20 years and is happy to be providing services during this past year in the Dover-Foxcroft-area. Services include shared living or adult foster care, home support or two-person supported living, community support (community-based day program) and even respite.
The agency also has offices in Hampden, Belfast, Lincoln and Millinocket. Her company is based on the premise that people have choices and options in terms of who will provide their support and what those supports might look like. Creative Options is responsive, supportive and focuses on providing quality services to those with special needs.
Anyone interested in learning more should feel free to stop by and help celebrate, grab some informational material or an application and join in for dinner and snacks which will be provided.
