Alliance holding conversation on teen dating violence and abuse

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Spruce Run-Womancare Alliance will hold a community conversation about teen dating violence and abuse — called “Time to Talk” — on Thursday, March 2 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the 8 Mechanic Street office.
The conversation will offer parents and adults who work with teens a chance to learn about common tactics of relationship abuse and ask questions about healthy and unhealthy dating behaviors. The alliance’s prevention educators, who work with hundreds of young people each year to improve their understanding of abuse, will present information about teen dating relationships and strategies for addressing concerns. This presentation is part of the Community Training Series sponsored by Helping Hands with Heart.
