Community First sponsoring Candidates’ Night

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m.. voters in Dover-Foxcroft will have a chance to meet and talk with local candidates for the open positions on the Dover-Foxcroft Board of Selectman, HAD 4 Hospital Board and the RSU 68 School Board.

This moderated session sponsored by Community First will provide each candidate with the opportunity to respond to a series of questions related to the post that they are seeking, followed by an open audience “question and answer” session. Candidates’ Night will be held in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at the Morton Avenue Municipal Building. Light refreshments will be served.
    Candidates have been invited for the following offices: selectman (3-year term): Jane Conroy, Gail D’Agostino and Jeffrey Merchant.
    Selectman (1-year term to replace Jim Annis): Ben Cabot, Kenneth Finnemore, Roger Kaufman, Mary Merchant and Glen Villane.
    HAD4 Hospital Board: Chris Clukey and Chris Maas.
    RSU 68 Board of Directors: Jenny Chase, Chris Maas and Marc Poulin.
    Each of these candidates is to be appreciated for their willingness to serve our community.  Please come and participate in this evening’s Candidates’ Night so that you make an informed vote on or before June 11. Call 564-8245 with any questions.
