SPRINGFIELD – Marshall G. “Marty” Worster, 58, passed away Aug. 2, 2016, in Springfield. He was born October 10, 1957, in Lincoln, the son of Arnold and Roberta (Smith) Worster.
Marty was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed his job working in the woods, and was a volunteer firefighter with the Springfield Fire Department. He liked to play pool, enjoyed dancing and riding his motorcycle. He loved all of his family dearly. In addition to his mother, Roberta Murray and her husband, John, he is survived by three children, Joseph Worster, Adam Worster, and Ashley Kneeland and her husband, Brian; three grandchildren, Damian, Brody and Joseph Worster; two sisters, Lianne Russell and her husband, Reggie and Gloria Chasse and her husband, Gary. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a daughter Chelsey; and two brothers, Larry and Stuart.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at Cole Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Swan officiating. Those who wish may donate in his memory to the funeral home to help with expenses.
