UMaine-Presque Isle dean’s list

PRESQUE ISLE — One thousand five hundred and forty students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have received academic recognition for the fall 2025 semester, according to Alana Margeson, provost and vice president of academic Affairs. Because of an academic policy, there are no distinctions on UMPI’s Dean’s list among highest honors, high honors, and honors; instead, all students who achieve academic distinction appear on one honors list. Additionally, an award category has been added to recognize the academic achievements of part-time students.

Local dean’s list students are Mara Wilbur, Cambridge; Keith Emery, Derby; Elizabeth Neal, Garland; Hannah Dow, Guilford; and Nick Hammond, Lagrange; 

Four hundred and thirty students were named to the part-time academic recognition list. These include Charles Gokas, Dexter; Cassie Chambers, Dover Foxcroft; and Zachary Reese, Lagrange.
