New program coming to Dexter Age Friendly on Thursday

DEXTER — Dexter Age Friendly, working with the VFW Auxiliary, will offer a free lunch on Thursday, Feb. 19 at the VFW building on Cedar Street. This first meal is being entirely provided through the generosity of the members of the auxiliary. The meal will be followed by one of the group’s semi-monthly cards & games programs.

For several years Dexter Age Friendly has offered a 2-hour, twice a month program for neighbors and friends to gather and play either cards or board games. Cards & games meets at 2 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month at Gatherings4Main and in the future will meet on the third Thursday of the month at the VFW immediately following the luncheon.
