Greenville teams fall in Class S quarterfinals
AUGUSTA — Both the Greenville High School girls and boys were defeated in inaugural Class S quarterfinal matchups on Feb. 11 at the Augusta Civic Center.
The seventh-seeded Greenville girls lost 56-33 to No. 2 Forest Hills High School of Jackman (15-4) to end 2025-26 at 4-15.
Katie Hanson led the Lakers with nine points. Maggie Shaw and Peyton Woodbury both scored six. Reese Brown, Emily Depardo and Khloee Harris all had four points.
Forest Hills’ Janessa Moffitt led all players with 25 points.
The No. 8 Greenville boys lost 70-16 to top-seeded Upper Kennebec Valley High School of Bingham (17-2) to end the year at 2-17.
Landon Theriault led the Lakers with eight points. Elijah Dedham and Ki Theriault had three points apiece and Treyden Gallagher had two.
Valley’s Harry Louis scored a game-high 19 points.
