The event is put on each year by CCM Events (a local nonprofit in the Moosehead Lake Region). Every year hundreds of people attend the event and a significant amount is raised, which is then donated throughout the community.
Organizers transformed Woody’s into a winter wonderland with a life-sized DIY ginger bread house. Forty seven businesses were involved.

Those hosting the Moosehead Festival of Trees said this year’s event was amazing. The event was a hit and incredibly successful in raising funds.
They are proud to say they collected six shopping carts full of food to donate for the local backpack program that helps kids with good insecurities through the Moosehead Lake Kiwanis Club. Attendees who brought in any food donations received two free tickets.
The vibe was very festive — with Hallmark movie vibes — lots of laughter, connection and families. Local chef Northwoods Gourmet Girl served up homemade ice cream with waffles, homemade focaccia bread pizza, baked goods, soups and more. Greenville Grinds Coffee Shoppe was also set up with us serving specialty holiday lattes and fun coffees.
One hundred percent of the proceeds go back into the community. Organizers have not yet officially decided exactly where the funds will go as they will be spread out all year long, but every year it goes toward children in the community, elderly needs, fuel assistance, activities needed for kids, assistance for families in need and much more.
