Lights of Life celebrates loved ones and caregivers and supports care close to home
GREENVILLE — Northern Light CA Dean Hospital recently kicked off this year’s Lights of Life program by illuminating two holiday trees at the hospital. Lights of Life honors and remembers friends, family and caregivers and raises funds to support patient care at the hospital.
This year, the Lights of Life trees are located on the newly modernized hospital campus. The lights lit up for the first time on Dec. 4 along with the Lights of Life trees at AR Gould Hospital, Eastern Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital.

LIGHTS OF LIFE — Northern Light CA Dean Hospital recently kicked off this year’s Lights of Life program by illuminating two holiday trees at the hospital. Community members are invited to purchase lights for the trees to recognize loved ones and caregivers.
“The finishing touches were put on the landscaping at CA Dean Hospital over the summer, making our hospital campus the perfect spot to host this year’s Lights of Life display,” says Randy Clark, president, Northern Light Mayo, CA Dean, and Sebasticook Valley Hospitals. “This year, there are two trees: one under the gazebo, and the other near the hospital entrance. The trees are a nice addition to the hospital grounds during the holidays and are a reminder that every light celebrates important people in our lives and strengthens care close to home.”
Community members are invited to purchase lights for the trees to recognize loved ones and caregivers. Nine levels of recognition are available, beginning with white lights at $15 and including opportunities to name a constellation, star, or the trees. The name of each individual being honored or remembered will be displayed on the CA Dean and Mayo Hospital websites throughout the holiday season. Upon request, Lights of Life cards are available to send to honorees.
Every dollar raised through Lights of Life will stay local to support patient care at CA Dean Hospital. For more information or to purchase a light, please visit northernlighthealth.org/CADeanLights.
