Pony wrestling finishes first at Detour Invitational

BUCKSPORT — The Foxcroft Academy wrestling team finished in first place at the 2025 

2025 Ryan Detour Invitational at Bucksport High School on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Ponies winning their respective weight classes were Sal Rizzitello at 106 pounds; Westin Donahue at 126 pounds; and Hayden Hanson at 157 pounds.

Second-place wrestlers were Nick Thompson at 150 pounds; Alex Hanson at 165 pounds; and Tyler Wing at 215 pounds.

Coming in third was Gabe Chambers at 113 pounds; Nick McCorrison at 144 pounds; and Jacobi Poire at 175 pounds.

Three Piscataquis Community High School wrestlers placed. 

In the 138-pound division Wyatt Johnson came in second and Abel Currier was third.

Brady Ball finished fourth at 175 pounds.
