Man accused of assaulting 2 women in Piscataquis County

An Orneville man allegedly assaulted two women in late October.
Lindel “Anthony” Wilson, 25, has been charged with elevated aggravated assault and aggravated assault, according to the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office.
Wilson allegedly assaulted the women on the night of Oct. 28, leaving them with severe injuries that prompted the sheriff’s office to call in the Maine State Police. Wilson and the victims knew each other.
Deputies arrested Wilson on Tuesday after a weekslong investigation, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday morning.
He was being held at the Piscataquis County Jail in Dover-Foxcroft on $10,000 bail.
