Penobscot Valley Conference soccer honors

A number of area soccer players received postseason recognition from the Penobscot Valley Conference.

The girls 8-player First Team includes Dexter Regional High School senior forward Desiree Adams and Penquis Valley High School senior keeper Brooklyn Decker.

Second Team honorees include Dexter junior forward Brookelin Dorman and junior keeper Addy Gudroe, Piscataquis Community High School sophomore forward Macie Littlefield and Penquis junior forward Ewa Ziolkowska.

Dexter senior midfielder Annabelle Peakes earned honorable mention recognition.

The boys 8-player First Team includes Dexter senior forward Ezekiel Bermudez, PCHS senior midfielder Brady Gaw, junior forward Chase Lander and senior keeper Noah Kain and Penquis senior forward Kooper Badger.

Second team players from the area are Dexter senior midfielder Gape Cupero, PCHS sophomore midfielder Oliver Luckovskis and Penquis senior midfielder Liam Atkinson.

Honorable mention players include PCHS senior defender Dawson Draper and Penquis senior defenders Aidan Murano and Wyatt Romero.

Trey Gilbert of PCHS is the Coach of the Year.

For Class B, Foxcroft Academy’s Lucia Silberstorff is a girls First Team selection.

Jasmine Hall and Nola were both chosen for the Second Team.

Boys Second Team selections from Foxcroft Academy are Hawken Hall and Ludorico Baresi. 

The girls PVC All-Academic Team includes Dexter: Jazmin Channon, Annabelle Peakes, Cassidy Drew, Payton Dodge; Foxcroft Academy: Natalie Cavanaugh, Addison Menz, Gemmy Nguyen; PCHS: Audrey Chadbourne, Molly Goodwin, Ava Goulette, Hope Hunt; Penquis: Brooklyn Decker, Amara Driscoll, Caysie Moore.

Boys All-Academic Team players are Foxcroft Academy: Hawken Hall, Hayden Hanson; PCHS: Tristan Billington, Brady Gaw, Noah Kain; Penquis: Liam Atkinson, Michael Coburn, Sean Chenkin, Ethan Lewis, Aidan Murano, Wyatt Romero, Jareth Williams.
