Three Rivers Residential Care Home opens in Milo
MILO – Mark and Eryn Savard, founders and owners of the new Three Rivers Residential Care Home in Milo, felt a burden to create a family-oriented assisted living facility that offers nutritious meals and personalized support with daily activities for individuals who need assistance but do not require the intensive medical care provided in a nursing home. Mark and Eryn Savard are not new to elder care, as they also operate a separate care facility in Corinth called Jem Estates. The Savards are committed to safety and high-quality, compassionate care for all residents.
Mark Savard’s background also includes more than four decades of experience in construction and real estate. A devoted husband, father and man of faith, he also serves actively in his church and plays drums for The Not by Works Band, a ministry that shares music and encouragement in prisons across Maine and New Jersey. Guided by his faith and a deep sense of purpose, Savard felt called to serve the elderly community by creating a place where residents can truly feel at home, surrounded by the comfort, familiarity and the warmth of a family environment.
Eryn Savard has dedicated much of her life to raising and homeschooling the couple’s children, while also serving in her church for more than 25 years. Known for her genuine compassion and heart for people, Savard brings creativity and care to everything she does. An accomplished cook with a special talent for gluten-free recipes, she combines her love of hospitality with her attention to detail — qualities that help make Three Rivers Residential Care Home feel truly like home.

RESIDENTIAL HOME — Three Rivers Residential Care Home, 90 Park St. in Milo, hosts an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 12-2 p.m. with a Piscataquis Chamber of the ribbon cutting at 1 p.m.
Together Mark and Eryn Savard founded their care homes on the belief that every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and love. Their guiding verse, Leviticus 19:32 — “Stand up in the presence of the elderly and show respect for the aged. Honor God by doing this.” — reflects their mission and daily approach to care.
Over the past year the Savards have devoted significant time and care to updating and renovating the Milo facility. The newly renovated home now features six private bedrooms — one with a private full bathroom — along with a welcoming resident gathering space, a family-style dining room, a full kitchen, laundry facilities and a variety of other home comforts designed to create a warm, inviting environment for residents.
“I had the pleasure of walking through the lovingly-updated facility, and I was so impressed by the great care that was taken by the Savards to create a home in which anyone would feel confident and comfortable placing their parents”, said Denise Buzzelli, Piscataquis Chamber director, “and I am always excited when business owners create their vision with a spirit of excellence,” she said, “what an amazing gift to have a residential care home like this right in Milo!”
The facility is thoughtfully staffed 24/7 to assist residents with medication management, daily personal care, meals, transportation, housekeeping, companionship and more. Residents receive
qualified, attentive, standout care that reflects the Savards’ commitment to professionalism, kindness and the genuine compassion they believe every member of the aging community deserves.
The Savards remain committed to continuing their work and hope to open additional facilities across Maine — upholding their unwavering standard of excellence in both care and management.
Three Rivers Residential Care Home will host its open house on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 12-2 p.m., and the Chamber ribbon cutting will take place at 1 p.m. at 90 Park St. This event is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a special giveaway.
