Dexter, Foxcroft run at PVC cross country championships

BANGOR — The Dexter Regional High School and Foxcroft Academy cross country teams all ran at the 2025 Penobscot Valley Conference championships on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Saxl Park.

Dexter freshman Crystal Adkins covered the 5K course in a time of 24 minutes, 16.01 seconds to finish 13th among a field of 33 runners in the girls Small School race. 

Tiger senior Annabelle Peakes placed 21st in 25:54.18, and freshman Lydia Standish was 32nd at 39:58.

For Foxcroft Academy, freshman Elizabeth Deitz came in 33rd among 45 entrants in the girls Large School race with her time of 25:00.26. 

Pony sophomore Zoe Eakright was 42nd at 27:06.22

In the boys Small School competition, Dexter senior Ezekiel Bermudez led his team with a time of 19:03.62 to place 21st among 64 runners.

The three other Tigers were freshman Quincy McClure, 36th at 20:38.14; senior Luca De Pasquale, 43rd at 22:03.37; and freshman Michael Irish, 54th at 23:20.32.

Foxcroft Academy junior Michael Ferioli finished 11th in the Large School race, out of a field of 40 entrants, with his time of 18:43.06.

Pony junior Ethen Eakright came in 22nd at 19:49.78 and freshman Skyler Patrick was 40th at 24:34.27.
